
To be clear, Energea is already a terrific company. We wouldn’t be investing if we didn’t think so. This page is designed not to fix, but instead to suggest improvements from an investor’s point of view to improve our experience. While we don’t expect any of them to be implemented, perhaps the team at Energea will find some value in our feedback.
New Account Signup Confusion (Submitted) – We have had several people reach out to us who bumped into the same signup issue. On the step where you are to confirm US Resident, Valid Social Security Number, and 18 Years Old, each is already confirmed by default. Everyone seems to click each option, thinking they are confirming them, but actually invalidating them. They then get an error when attempting to continue. It’s easy enough to go back and click each option again to confirm. Possible Solution: Make the three options unchecked by default so the user has to click or tap each to confirm.
Custodial Accounts (Submitted) – It would be wonderful for our youngest generation to start building wealth, to have a positive impact on what the world, and to be able to understand investing versus speculation.
Distributions to External Account (Submitted) – Right now we have all of our dividends reinvested. When we hit our FI number, it would be nice to have the distributions go to an external account (such as a checking that pays the bills) instead of the Energea Wallet to save us a step.
No Mailed Holidays Cards (Submitted) – Call us the grinch, but we agree with a message received requesting this. We love the idea behind it, but it seems like an unnecessary expense and it goes against trying to help improve the environment.
Fix App/Website Photo Labels (Submitted) – Instead of having “New Project”, which can quickly be outdated, perhaps a different label with a detail that doesn’t have information that expires. Such as “Cash Flowing” or the start of operation date.
