March was a great example of how stressless being invested in Energea is. Oil skyrocketed, the SP500 dropped more than 5%, metals such as gold dropped, and bitcoin has been all over the place. Meanwhile, as designed, Energea just lay back in the sun and brought our portfolio to a new record amount. While we aren’t naive that something could happen to bring Energea down, it is an amazing experience to watch Energea shine through the turbulence of everything else.
Due to some unexpected expenses this month, we do not anticipate contributing any new money into Energea with the exception that all Energea dividends continue to be reinvested in the portfolios that produced them. It will be fun to watch the portfolio change on its own.
Our IRR continues to remain in the sweet spot of 11-12%.
