No more excuses.
My family lives a carbon-negative lifestyle (we remove more carbon dioxide than we cause to be emitted). It took us a lot of time, thought, effort, and change to accomplish this. We did this by moving to a property with 20 acres of forest, installing our own solar system that supports two other homes as well, among a long list of other changes.
But we struggled with how to make our investments matter, until Energea.
Before investing in Energea, we researched solar stocks, Carbon Collective, and socially responsible funds. Although they all had their perks, we did not pursue any of them because the returns weren’t that great and the impact on the world was hard to understand.
Instead, we found ourselves investing in stocks and index funds with the mentality that “maybe” we would make a lot of money, and then “maybe” we could put that money to good use someday for the world. Maybe… The more we said it out loud, the more it just sounded like an excuse. Additionally, we feel that having an impact on the environment is similar to investing; the earlier it starts, the more it can compound.
Energea is a wonderful opportunity for us to put our money where our mouth is, right now. Right now, we are having a positive impact on the world while having a positive impact on our journey to FI.
